Old friends....Old town
I had a blast this weekend in Portland with my very bestest friend in the whole world, Kimberly.
It was our very-over-due-"girlie"-weekend and we had so much fun.
This was the theme:
good food, good laughs, good talk, good movie, good shopping.
It was all good.
We rode the bus/train downtown to the Portland Market.
Can I say that big cities just have a completely different vibe and I love watching all the people and the street peddlers, it was all so colorful in my minds' eye.
We saw a guy lay on a bed of nails with a man on top of him( I think he secretly enjoyed that the most), I saw more "dreads" than I care to and the one thing that is the same everywhere is all the wierd people on the bus.
After that we rode down to old town. I just love the architecture of the old buildings. I was imagining what those old buildings had seen over the years.
All the history......it was too cool.
I wish we had more time there, but, the shops were closing, we were pooped,I had my mocha, so, we headed back.
I feel so blessed to have my Kimberly.
She is my rock, my true-blue.
Shoot, we've been friends for so long that people think we're related, which we are, our hearts are forever entwined.
I dig that.
Do you have a friend like that?
Everyone should.....
Thanks, Kimberly, for our time together.
I love you....tiramasu.

Oh my Lori Lou,
I am recharged, rejuvenated and able to face the real world again because of our belly laughin' and high falootin' good time.
I love the laughter the most and how we just GET each other, jokes, thoughts, long talks and ideas. No surprise there, it was true the first moment that we met.
Even when all is well and life is good, you make it all even better.
Where shall we go next??
The Carribean? Europe?
Yakima??
True blue you,
you are my friend til the end.
And Portland was great fun - as anyplace we are there together is.
Every woman should be this blessed with friendship.
I love you so.
Kimberly
